It was built in Mexico. I have seen the VIN plate and it is in spanish. Yes, it may be for sale but the owner is actually interviewing potential buyers and taking bids (of which I am one of them trying to buy it). He has owned it for 20 years and brought his family to the USA from Mexico in it so he wants it to go to someone who will restore it back to new.
Edit - Ok guys, Here is the link to the craigslist ad for the truck. The owner is looking for $4ooo for the truck and at this time is out of my budget.

Wow and it's a F100 I've only seen acouple F100 crew cabs there's another guy in the slick section that has one. But his is a 4 door. There was a lot of 2 doors made along with 3 and 4 doors so they ain't that rare. But being a F100 2 door that may make it more rare since all the other 2 doors that I've seen were f250's or F350's not a bad price but could be better if I were to spend my money on one I'd want a 4 door just my preference. The truck has a cool story behind it also coming from Mexico to the U.S been in his family awhile so i can see how he has sentimental value with it.

I was thinking the same thing, someone did some work in that bed, Thats the problem with buying something that has alot of sentimental value, It has none for you. it's just a neat truck, thats needs to be restored, so the price has to be reasonable, I think he is already out of the ballpark with what he is asking, but someone with money will buy it, like Jay Leno, Danny Kount, someone. But it's to much for me

Most of the 2 and 3 door Crew Cabs were made by Crown Coach, located (back then) in Los Angeles CA
First Ford factory 4 door Crew Cabs were introduced mid-year 1965, all were modified Regular Cabs.
Many 1965/72's and all 1973/79 Crews were assembled at the Oakville Ontario Canada truck assembly plant.
