Period Correct Modifications?

Ive got a 1962 F250 4x4 & im looking to do Period Correct Modifications.
What I mean by Period Correct Modifications is that I Hate STOCK appearing trucks I like to add stuff to make it Unique.

So my question is what would you add that looks good on these older trucks.

think of it as if u were like 16-25 and cruising with your friends what would you have added to make your truck Yours?

Nothing. Well almost nothing. Maybe a Diesel truck hood. A period correct winch and custom mount. A-Pillar Spotlight. NO roof marker lights! No SunVisor.

How about a set of the factory correct Budd #71410, 19.5" x 5.25", pizza cutter wheels with a set of aggressive 8-19.5" bias ply traction treads. If you can find them, that is. Stu

a Diesel truck Hood? fill me in on that ive never seen one.
id love to find a Winch & a mount & i plan to throw one of those badass spotlights on it. Is that even legal though?

I doubt i can find 19.5s & i dont think they would fit any way. Im looking for a set of decent 15 mud tires used. do you know how hard it is to find 15 mud tires cheap that have tread left?

I would like to throw on some Yosemite Sam Mudflaps on. Yes Yosemite Sam i think he a cool as hell character.

Other options im thinking of is Vintage CB & Whips, Blue Dot Tail Lights, Amber Fog/Driving lights & id love to have a Rack of KC lights up top.

any other ideas or suggestions are welcome

Defiantly the big meats with spoke type wheels and don't forget those West Coast Mirrors to mount those dual CB antennas on and don't forget a loud *** horn that plays "Dixie" like the Duke Boys when you're out spinning donuts and jumping cars. Make sure you carry your Deer rifle in gun rack (except if you live in California)

Don't forget the big nasty V-8 with those loud twice pipes behind the cab like the big diesel trucks.

And don't forget your Rebel Flag to go on your roll bar!

I Like most of the ideas & i plan to do most of them someday hopefully soon. I really like the idea of the Aircraft lights.

I gotta know is there anything you can do to make the T98 shift any quicker or shorter i guess i should ask?

Although there were regional differences in brand, but perhaps an aftermarket bumper like Barden would work for your truck.

Not aware of any, but I do know the T-98 has provisions to add a PTO. Would be very cool to drive a winch or compressor off it.
