did a 5 speed tranny swap
will a ecu out of the same year same motor truck just plug right in I currently have the auto one still in there but have a a ecu same year same motor but 5 speed ecu here will it just plug in or are there any changes in the 60 pin lay out

You did not say engine size but I will say it should just plug in.

 

Is your truck mass air? If it's not then the manual PCM should work fine, but if it is then I don't think it will work because there were no mass air manual trucks as far as I know, and that means you would need to use a mustang PCM and that will require repining the connector.

 

sorry guys the are both for SD 4.9 300 6 cylinders

 

In 1995 all 4.9L & 5.0L engines were MASS & SFI so it should be plug and play.
