Hmmm. The regular speeds temp is fine, 190* is engine temp which is just fine. But 250* just cruising is just too hot. Where is the temp sender located? If it is in the "hot" side of the cooler lines it will be a bit high, but your lock-up converter should still keep it below 200*. I guess an extra cooler and a deep pan is the next thing to do.

Well... installed the B&M TEK-Cool with 1/2 hoses.
We'll see how well it works when I can get it up to speed. Otherwise just around town cruising I was at around 160ish. Hasn't even cycled the fan on yet, which is a rated for 175 to kick in.

Had to make some brackets as the unit is too heavy to be supported by the rad

Clutches don't look like what I expected, but you have definitely run some hard trash thru the rest of it. Man, that sucks. Hope everything goes well with the fix.

The joke is that this only had roughly 5000km on it since it was done, I can still read the stamping on the clutches.

Did you run a magnet over the debris to see if it was steel or aluminum? It's not like I know what I'm talking about or anything, but I'm just curious.

It aluminum, it started to eat itself when the filter fell out. Which cause the pump to go dry.
Lots of blue on the TC, and on the planetary.
Which means the internal temps were accurate.

Yep. You going to try and build that one, or just get another one?
