I have a tentative date of Nov. 8th to tear my truck down to install the ARPs, among all the other weak points. My tool box is full of parts, just waiting for the time to get-r-done.

The trick will be, keeping my toe nails out of the injectors until then...

running the SLR+ and not going easy may get you head studs sooner than you think.

They need every mod you can give them to better the tune, even mods you don't have like injector size, your driving habits. I even told them I want the torque convertor locked up in 5th and 6th gear ASAP so I don't keep getting an un-lock if I step down just a little to pass without shifting to 5th.

Matt even re-adjusted the tune to tighten the smoke control because a slight increase in throttle made a bunch of smoke around the 35-50 MPH range, not a puff but a cloud. Fixed it first try.

The SLR+ is so sick.... I can't keep in the throttle because the truck is sideways! The 8k tow was a pretty good daily driver, firm shifts, good power.
Thanks for the info! I still think I'm leaning towards the looney. I'm looking for mileage mostly, so maybe I'll try that canned 65hp tune first. I've been running the canned street tune and getting about 16.6. I do like the extra power available to me tho. You know, for when I need to some other truck why Ford is better.
