New Ride, New Here, Diff Fluid Question :)

Hello!

New to the site, love these types of forums. Just picked up a sweet customized 2001 Explorer Sport.

Really excited to be rid of my 2003 Jeep Liberty. Had a lot of problems with it. Hoping this thing lasts a long time!

It has 4:88 gears / lockers in the diffs and I am not sure which gear oil I should be using in them. Any advice appreciated.

Cheers!

FORD recommends 80-90 straight gear lube in the front and 75w 140 synthetic in the rear. If you have some type LS unit in the rear you need the friction modifier. Not sure what "locker" you mean. You think the front end has some type of limit slip unit ? VERY uncommon.
