Dana 60 Parts Question (Axle Nut Keeper, ect)
So i went to change wheel bearings in the drivers side front. I had done the passenger side a couple months ago and with the trip to BTS in Dec and my tight schedule i took advantage of my thursday afternoon and got on finishing up that job. when i tore it down it was packed full of nasty old grease, and in digging it out and backing the axle nut off i forgot about the little keeper in there that stops the axle nut from loosening, i managed to save it without much damage to it for the time being, but id like to find a new one so i called the local ford dealer to see if they had one and they got no idea what im talking about. so i was curious if you guys knew of anywhere to get one, also the cam assembly for the automatic locking 4x4, the plastic ring with the spring around it in the cam has 2 cracks in it. 1 looks like it was made that way the other clearly looks like a break. Where would i find one of those for a decent price? i didn't bother asking the dealer after the confusion with the simple nut keeper.

This is a place that makes the clip. Not real cheap, but nobody makes them. As for the cam assembly, I don't think you can buy them new but unsure. Junkyard maybe? Otherwise I think you have to switch to newer auto's or put manual lockouts on.
