I need a short block for a 2000 B4000 (4.0 OHV). It had new heads not too long ago so I would like to re-use them. There were three breaks for block castings (90-94, 95-96, 97-00) and I want to know if any of them could be used interchangeably with the heads I have or if I need to make sure it is the late casting, which seems harder to find. Also, where is a good source for short blocks? Thanks in advance for any help.
