My 1965 Field Find Front Suspension?
Installing engine and tranny. Being under it. Some work has been done. Bolting and welding support brackets to cross member. Not me. Tie rods and drag link looks larger than stock F-100. When I sit engine and tranny in the truck it barely moved. I just wonder if 3/4 or 1 ton front end has been installed? It sits very high. Not complaining. Just wondering? 50 years old. No telling! Any opinions?

It's a Ford, built tough! Do you see any signs of the front being lifted in any way?
Check your shocks. I had a set of gas shocks installed one time and the guy did it wrong. He released the shock stem before he placed the shock in position and that locked both shocks in the extended most position when he let the truck down. I could tell before I got out of the parking lot as it acted like there was a solid suspension with no springs, like a toy car.
They pulled out the shocks and found the installer bent the stems when he jammed them up in there. New set installed properly and I was on my way.
