I have a 1988 F150, 2WD, super cab; what's the largest tires that will fit on the stock suspension? I've heard 31x1050x15, 33x1250x15, and also 35x1250x15, but not sure which is true. I'm sure the 31's will fit, but was wondering about 33's or 35's, what have you all been able to fit?
31 inch is generally the biggest that will fit without rubbing on the stock wheels, 32's might just squeak in on a 4x4 and 33's usually need a leveling kit, and all these must be 10.5" wide or less. 35's won't fit on the stock wheels and definitely need a lift kit.
On my 95 4x4 will all stock suspension and my bumper spaced out some I'm able to fit 33 12.5 15's on stock wheels but they do rub the radius arms at full lock. 32 11.5'd look good too
