Bug Shield/Deflector Question

Hey guys... I recently bought this 2008 F250 and at some point in time I believe it had a bug deflector due to the mounts found on the hood and on the grill. Does anyone have any idea what type of shield this may be based on the picture below? I have tried everything to find out what manufacturers use what mounts and have had no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can see the threaded mount just above the left portion of the headlight.

Thank You,

Jim

Can't help you with the brand of that one but I just ordered one from Amazon $45. It comes with everything you need to mount. The hood already has the holes for it (that mount is most likely using the Ford holes.

Thanks BC I appreciate it. I have been looking on Amazon/Ebay as well and intend to get a chrome shield but I was hoping to use the existing mounts so I dont take the change of wrecking the paint taking off those old mounts. They have an adhesive tape on them. The other mounts that are actually under the grill part way arent a problem because you cant see them. Thanks again for the help.

Looking at the photo the first thing I thought was snap for a winter front. The photo isn't that detailed but thats what I see.

If you want to remove them get a heat gun and a bit of fishing line. Heat the adhesive up and start working your way through with the fishing line, then you can remove and left over adhesive on the truck with some adhesive remover.

That's what I thought as well. But didn't know if it went that far over or not. No need for a winter front down here were I live.

The DOWN side of most bug deflectors is that they really screw up the airflow on the windshield and your windshield washers are almost worthless...

Mine seem to work fine still.

Maybe it's because the 2011+ trucks have the washer nozzles mounted in the middle of the hood instead of in the cowl or on the wipers though?

I have a WeatherTech bug deflector.
