Camper Special Emblems vs. Trailer Special Emblems
I guess I have too much time on my hands, wondering about this...my truck has Camper Special emblems, but was ordered with both CS Package and Trailer Tow Package...is that considered a Trailer Special? When would a truck get the Trailer Special tailgate emblem? Did they ever get both?

What is this trailer tow package you speak of?
Looks to me like the Camper Special included all of the heavy duty Trailer Special features. I Don't think you will ever find a C/S with a T/S badge on the tailgate.
Trailer Special:
There were 2 categories for the Trailer Special.
Light duty trailer towing package:
Good for towing up to 2,000lbs.
This package included a heavy duty radiator, external oil cooler, seven lead trailer harness, heavy duty turn signal flasher and the Trailer Special emblem on the T-gate.
Heavy duty trailer towing package:
Good for towing up to 6,000lbs.
This package included a heavy duty alternator, heavy duty battery, HD rear shocks, bigger radiator, rear sway bar, swing out recreational mirrors, amp meter, oil pressure gauge, HD front springs, external oil cooler and the Trailer Special emblem on the T-gate.

I was just going by the handwritten notation at the bottom of my truck's equipment order form. I will have to do a Marti search to see if there was any note of it, or if this was simply a notation made by a salesman or the original owner. I do have the seven- no, make that 6-lead harness plug underneath.
I can't make out the print of the brochure pages you listed, when I enlarge them, they just blur, but to me, they look like separate and individual packages containing much of the same items, but tailored to camper use or trailer use...I am probably wrong.

Thanks, ranger!
There is probably no difference in the harnesses supplied for Trailer Special and Camper Special, but hopefully someone that knows for sure will chime in.
The above info for the TS notes that it is a seven wire/6-terminal color-coded trailer harness, and that the CS has seven wiring harness leads, each identified by color and tagged for circuit identification.

Hey shehan, I think you have provided me with the answer. Your truck has the Camper Package, and it also has the Trailer Towing Wiring Harness.
Because the CS package and the Heavy Duty TS package have pretty much all the same equipment, only the different TT harness would need to be added.
Since there are two levels of the TS package, but all CS packages are heavy duty, that is the one that is first ordered and then added to for trailer towing.
The handwritten notation on my order form must have been to not forget to add the TT harness.
Now I know why the Camper Special Package always take top billing in regards to the badging on a truck with the equipment of both packages.
Thanks!
