1994 F250 7.3 IDI (non turbo) stalling after about 5 minutes

My 1994 F250 7.3 IDI (non turbo) stalls about about 5 minutes. It idles smooth and fires right up when I first crack it. When it stalls the RPM's dip once or twice and then it stalls. When I crack it back up I have to pat the accelerator vigorously and about about 30 seconds it'll fire right up as if nothing ever happened. I'm new to diesels but I changed the fuel filter and fuel heater about 150 miles ago. Any ideas?

Fuel pressure check is the essential place to start-- Schraeder valve on fuel filter housing..........first bleed air and ensure no water is present in the fuel (common issue).........then look for 50-60psi on cranking

What's your tank level at? It's pretty common for the pickup tube to fall off in the tank. Usually it will give people fits down near 1/4 tank. Otherwise I would check your lift pump, it may have a crack in the diaphragm. Is there diesel in the oil? Return lines and air in the system would not be the cause if it fires up and idles fine for a period of time.

No diesel in the oil. It does seem to happen at or about a 1/4 tank on both the front and rear tanks. I will check the fuel pressure to make sure that isn't the issue. Thank you.
