429 np435 fly wheel clutch and starter
Ok quick back story im a graduating highschool senior and ive been saving to put this bog block in my 77 f250 it had straight 6 with np 435 i have 351m bell and clutch fork and i was planning on using a RAM 429 flywheel and clutch was wandersing if that sounded right like i said im in high school and i can put it together just want to see if anyone knew if that sounded rightand will a 9 tooth starter work on 184 tooth flywheel

You do not need any spacers.
Use an FE 390 184 tooth flywheel, 460 starter and matching 390 clutch set.
Never heard of anyone having issues with the pilot. Use a 6303-2RS pilot bearing.
Do not forget the z-bar engine side pivot bracket too.

By bolted together, he means engine and tranny. The pilot bearing is in the end of the crank outside of the engine (the end the flywheel bolts to). You have to verify that when you bolt the engine to the transmission the input shaft on the transmission engages the pilot but does not bottom out. Time to take some measurements and don't forget to factor in the flex plate thickness.
