98 E150 ac/heat wont switch
I had the ac compressor replaced last summer then had no heat. Took it back to them to replace an actuator (for the blend dr) told me the blend dr was broken now. that they had my heat going but would have to come back in the spring for them to replace the blend door. Pulled it apart blend dr is working just fine. But no ac when you switch it. Any ideas???? HELP PLZ

What exactly not's working? Does the A/C compressor engage? If not have you checked its fuse and/or relay? The connector to the compressor?
Do you have full control of the heat? Can you adjust the air flow temperature properly?
Sorry but your question is all over the place, not really enough info, raises more questions.
We're here to help, gotta be a bit more clear in your symptoms.

ac e150
Ac doesn't switch from heat to ac, you can hear the compressor cycle, it has refrigerant, found a plug to the compressor unplugged fixed that. Had everything done at a shop they worked on it told me it was the blend door is why it wouldn't switch. blend door works. Everytime they work on it one (ac) or the other (heat) works not both and everytime I go back it's more $$ for them to turn one or the other on.

From what I can deduce from your descriptions it would seem to be a vacuum related issue---not uncommon with your era E-Series.
Switching from Heat, Vent, Defrost, Normal A/C & Max A/C is accomplished with that switch. Along with an electrical function its paired to simultaneously control a vacuum signal. This signal when properly routed directs air flow to various vents, depending on what function is selected.
This is the schematic for the vacuum system:
This area is middle of the dash board top, easily removed with a spoon or something similar inserted into a visible niche and lifting it upward, laying it aside once removed:
The loose end shown here connects to the white female mate shown in the previous photo. From there it leads to the electro-vacuum switch, also shown here:
Your descriptions suggest the electrical portion of the A/C & Heat system is fine. As said I suspect something in the vacuum control part is amiss.
BTW I'd find another shop, one with their poop in a group----the guys you're using now don't seem all that whippy.
