Line x running boards

Have any of you guys line x or rhino lined you stock running boards. Was thinking of doing it but not sure how it would hold up.

Any thoughts on this idea. Or maybe grip tape.

I'll be using rustoleum truck bed liner on mine one of these days. Already got the cans, Just need to get time to do it. Used the stuff on trim panels, and seems to have worked well but I just did it a few days ago so we'll see how it holds up.

When it get wet it's like ice the spray cans might work but just seem it will rub off in a few weeks of getting in and out of the truck.

May very well. Not sure how tough the stuff is but in general i've been really please with rustoleum products (once they truly harden which seems to take weeks). I figure once they're masked sprayed black if it starts wearing in the future i can always take a roll on liner product to the wear areas or the tops of the steps and not have to worry about removing the steps or masking anymore as it should all blend together. Or like you said before grip tape over the wear areas would take care of that as well.
