I need some help plz

I pulled the heads off to put in arp studs and found a bad puston I believe its the #1 (front hole on the pasanger side) so I pulled the oil pan and the adapter plate and pulled the connecting rod appart and pushed the piston out as I was cleaning up for the day I found this little steal ball about a half inch in size covered in oil so wair dose the ball go.

My guess is thats is a rocker ball. Look at the rockers and see if its the same ball.

O its off a 04 powerstroke f250 with 210000 miles on I t if that matters any dont remember any ***** in the rockers ware are they at Im thinking that its got to come from the bottom of motor

The rocker arm ball is under the clip that holds the rocker arm on.

Okay I checked and all the ***** are in the rockers and the ball I found is a little bigger than those

High pressure oil pump ball would be the only other one I can think of

Could that make its way to the oil pan though I haven't messed with the hpop or the cover. All though the I did change it like 3 and a half years ago and the oil pan adapter plate had lots of crud on it do you think it is possible for it to sit there that long I off road alot in this truck but I gess its possible but not very likely

Yes it can, it won't ever come out of the oil pan

its from a prior pump replacement unless yoir oil pressure is droping out to 0 psi at idle
