trying to figure out if my calipers are bad

i changed the front brake hoses because the truck felt like it was dragging a bit, when i would hit the gas from a stop, that seemed to help, i also changed the front rotors because when braking i was getting a pulsing feeling in the brake pedal. that fixed that.
now i feel like there is still a bit of a slight drag when i'm at a stop and let off the brake. when im on level ground the truck creeps forward from a stop when letting off the brake, on the slightest incline the truck wont go forward at all.
does your truck want to move forward on a tiny incline or no?

Check the temperature of your wheels and hubs after you drive several miles. If any of the brakes are dragging, the wheels will get hot.
Best done with an infra-red digital thermometer for accuracy. With one of these you can shoot the rotors or calipers also.
But reality is if one is dragging, you will be able to feel the difference in temperature with your fingers. Touch carefully as they can get very hot if dragging.
My truck will go forward on an incline when the brakes are released but a difference in the idle speed will have an affect on this.

what is your idle speed? mine is about 600.
my wheels are not getting hot but the rotors are too hot to touch after a 10 mile stop and go ride.
something to me just doesnt feel right, the truck seems to have some sort of drag coming from somewhere. it seems like it just doesnt want to go like i thought it should. i dont know if thats how the trucks are or what. its my 1st ford

'04 Super Cab 4X4, 4.6L.
Idle RPM = 500 in gear. Will move up a slight incline at idle w/ no brake applied.
Drove 10 miles with a stop every mile:
Front rotors = ~130, Rear rotors = ~100 degrees F.
Drove another 10 miles with a stop about every mile:
Front rotors = ~165, rear rotors = ~130
Normal? I don't know. Have never measured the temp before. Will check again after an 80 mile drive within the next week.
