P1299 code - no start - cold V6 engine
Just went out to start the truck (2006 4.2L) and no start...turns over but isn't firing.
I checked codes and got a P1299. She was stone cold and ran perfectly last night - never overheated.
I suspect ground or other wiring...where should I start?
Thanks

I just cleaned battery terminals and popped open the PCM connectors (x3), sprayed contact cleaner and reassembled. She fired right up and the code was gone...
Last week I had 3 days of code hell. Every other day I was getting a P0606, 0616 and P2106...intermittently. Its been perfect for about 4 days until the 1299 this morning.
I think its time for a new PCM?
