Busy day...

for the boy and I.
We got a lot done today.
1) rebuild carb "Oh what a beautiful one lunger!"
2) manifold studs in head
3) build water leads for under the factory intake manifold.

We are pretty proud of ourselves making the water leads for the intake manifold. Our cuts were spot on and everything fell into place after that. Granted we arent talking rocket science either.
However it was a fun day in the garage!

We picked up the studs and lock nuts at the local Ace hardware.

Thanks, I stopped by my local Ace last night and they stock grade 5 but not the 8. I struck out at NAPA as well. I guess I'll head back to Ace and see if they will order a set for me.
