I found this in a pile of parts, it apparently from a 51 Mercury flat head, possibly from a car. Had nothing to do so thought I'd see how well it might clean up
I'm still every now and then work on the nooks and cranny's if the feeling comes over me.. so far this is how it looks

Do you work on it when your bored? or is that one of those things you do as "task avoidance" to get out of doing some other dreaded chore?
Either way, the results are great. That manifold is polishing up nice

It's where the choke control is bolted to for the carburetor pictured. If I understood correctly Ross said it gets blocked off if a different Carburetor is used..

To be honest it was avoidance keeping me away from doing some work under the house in the crawl space and on a few of the days it was raining..lol
