Spark plugs

Spark plugs
Hey guys new here. My 2008 v10 is due for some plugs. It's at 111,000 miles so I'm a little past due. I just have some questions before I tackle this job. Internet searches have found me much, mainly 2v but I understand there is some big differences.
My first question is how easy are the plugs to get to? Seems really straight toward. Few heater hoses on one side to go around and the driver side seems real easy aside from a (fuel rail I'm thinking) in the way of the very rear plug.
Second the 2008 3v should be the sleeved plug? Where the thread doesn't start right away? And also would y'all recommend going back with some motor craft plugs or something else?
The change seems pretty straight forward. Remove the ignition coil and boot and I should find the plug? Also torque specs for new plugs?
Sorry for all the questions but I just have had no luck finding info on the 3v. Thanks in advance guys.

This is a thread posted a while ago, seems quite thorough for the V10 motor: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...nsulators.html
Seems to me there's also another too---I'll look for it. Ford issued a TSB for the 3V plugs, try this link: https://www.ford-trucks.com/tsb/full...php?tsb=08-7-6.

I have a '06 350 v10 and I changed my plugs & @ 73K mi. The electrodes on the plug were so worn down it was almost non-existant I would have to think that some performance was effected to some degree. I had do a bit of engine surfing to reach the rear cylinders but I got them. I followed the procedure for removal (plenty of write-ups on here) and it went pretty smooth. Bit of anti seize on the threads only and dielectric grease for the coils and bam its over. I believe that they did tweak it a bit for the '08 but I wonder why there are two choices in size? Possibly a early production '08 vs a later year production mode as was previously stated. Looks like the torque spec is 25 ft. lbs. Good luck!

I don't know the difference between the brown or black boots but do know the brown are for the newer plugs. Changing the plugs is pretty straight forward, the back ones just need a little patience. As far as removing anything just the air tube should do it. Blow out the spark plug wells then put a little Penetrating oil and take your time removing the plugs.
