My 2c is you have all the original engine and transmission. 7HA is the correct engine code for a 6 cylinder truck. The number on the trans is a partial vin that matches your frame. The one thing that stands out to me is the rear end tag. The original Dana rear didn't have a tag, and your's looks like one from a later 9" Ford. I'm guessing where you have 75, it's next to a bolt and right by it probably says 2., meaning 2.75 ratio.

Ok thanks,I was hoping this was original engine,you are correct about rear tag ford 9 out of econoline van,I am looking to keep this truck Thank You for all replies

I thought the econoline rear axles were several inches wider than the F100 versions? If so, is it going to cause you a problem with the width?

No this one fit right on original spring perches,plenty of room in fenders for wider tires,bolt right in

That sounds great. I looked it up and it looks like in the mid-70's they increased the width to near 70", so I guess the earlier ones must have been the same as the F100's.
