Greg is correct but just to expand on it the letter "D" equates to 330 "H.D." So it will be a big snout crank etc. closer related to the 361 and 391 IF IT'S STILL THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. The 330 M.D. were closer to a 360/390. The 330 H.D.'s were interchangable with the 361 and 391's. I've only ran across 330 H.D. and 361's being Holley 2v. Usually with a governor. All 391's with a 4v governed. Original equipment, that is.

Ok thanks, that makes sense. A friend mechanic said the C7 in C7TE 9426-K stamped on the intake meant the year 1967. So that means the intake couldn't possibly have come on that truck. Right??

Not necessarily. It could also mean it was originally designed for that year (but also used after that year).
