Deaver Superflex suspension systems

I used the Deaver superflex coil springs on the SAS 1990 Bronco that Kris and Pauly helped me with. I liked the coils. It was bouncy and smooth like a Cadillac.

Now I want to lift up my 1979 Bronco..I was thinking about getting the kits from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard but they vary $1245-$1339.

I want to get their rear leaf springs too.

Could I get by cheaper than getting their kit?

I need their coil springs and leaf springs for sure. Looks like those two will be $718 but with shipping $868.98.

I would then need to get C-bushings, radius arm drop brackets, extended brake lines, adjustable trac bar, and maybe some other stuff..

What do yall think? Order the whole kit (which looks like I have to order a little bit more stuff for them) or just buy the coil springs/leaf springs then the other parts separate?

What lift should I get? 4" or 6"? I am running 35's.

4" At most. Just shop around an see if you can get them cheaper else were. If not add up everything you will neeed seperatly an see how much it is compaired to the kit. If it came to same price or real close id get the whole kit an store or sell what i didn't need/want

If your not going bigger than 35's that's more than enough clearance for them. I ran 35's stock no trimming or anything so 4" would give you plenty of room.

For reference, my brother just picked up a '78 bronco with a new Deaver 6" kit and it clears 38" TSL's better than the skyjacker 6" kit on my f350 with 38" tires. It's about an inch taller than my truck.

You also have to remember the super flex stuff will flex alot better meaning can't run as big of a tire as a same size lift as a different brand if you off road hard.

This is all Theoretically speaking of course.

No cutting on the fenders for me!!!

4" Superflex hopefully shouldn't make my 35s rub. Though they said the right tire for a 4" superflex on JBG was a 34" tire...the 6" says 36" tire.

I was running 33s on my 77 flareside with no lift (and terrible rake) and no rubbing under the hardest stuffing. I cant imagine not being able to clear 35s with a 4". Im certain that if just leveled mine out it would have cleared 35s with the right spacing, with the exception of the flareside, 35s will rub the rear fenders unless theyre tucked in.

I disagree, you can run 38.5x15's on the rear on a 10" rim with out lift, I did radius that corner a small bit because it was close when i left the line and it squatted some. front has 2.5"

and here with have 35x16 boggers, 14" rim rear and 10" front. no lift and no trimming.

Mud, mine was the 77 style bed, has a smaller wheel opening from what i measured due to how the front kinda curves back to the tire at the bottom. If i had it loaded up good and took off hard at all the tire would rub the fender at the front.
