Great news! How about the paper tubes to blow it to the windsheild?

??? I don't know? Are those for the "left air" and "right air" ***** on the dash? The cables for those ***** are pretty gummed up. I can't tell that they do much of anything.

Everybody has the paper tubes. May even be able to get a close facsimile at a well equipped hardware store.
The dash vents, well, that's a different story

This is all I can find. Glad your heater works. Did you find a stock core, get lucky and have one that works or did you find something else that works?

I got lucky.
I try to start and drive the 58 every 2-3 weeks. Yesterday I turned the heater on and the blower worked good and strong. I let the truck run for about 10 minutes and the air had gotten hot.

Mine works, but smells like hot mouse urine! Guess I didn't clean it well enough. Still mild here for a while, what's the temp today in Great Falls?

28 degrees right now with sunshine and no wind. It's a beautiful fall day.
Tomorrow is supposed to be back close to 60.

There are two lengths of ducting going from the heater blower box up under the dash. They look to be about 4" in diameter. However, I don't get any air up in defroster country. Still the cab warmed up nicely despite the hole around the transfer case shifter not having a boot. I do know I need to change all the hoses.
