Christmas is coming and I want a tuner... any ideas on your guys thought whats the best for my 1999 7.3

 

There are so many threads on this . it is all just opinion based. Maybe search and read some of the threads. You will basically read people say DP tuner, PHPs Hydra. The hydra can have multiple tunes from multiple tuners. DP is proprietary but people like them. If you want to go a little cheaper get a 6 pos ts chip from Gearhead, beans, php or the like.

 

Yeah man, the tuner wars get a little testy around here. Do a search and make your own decision based on past arguments.

 

Yea, check them all out before you pick one.

 

Only the F5 & F6 are not capable of having other tuners programming on them. The F8 chip was made for other tuners to be able to put their tunes on it. Buying the F8 with the Destiny USB burner allows you to put anyone's tunes on it. Several of our resellers sell the F8 and NLTD sell it with their tuning.
