2014 F350, SRW, 6.2, 4x4, crew cab with 4.30 gears.
Less than 200 miles on the clock.
I don't baby it or lug it.
First highway run 12+.
Short commutes = 9.
It will get better. It already sounds and shifts differently than a week ago.
I filled the tank with Chevron premium Sunday.
What was the price per gallon? I don't know. Didn't look.
How much did it cost? I don't know. Didn't look.
...and I don't care.
I've got a Big Ol' Bad *** American truck with an American overhead cam V8.

I pulled the trigger and bought one Friday. It was hard to find with manual windows, manual tcase shifter and manual lock hubs...but we found one.Just the basic grey vinyl interior.black floor. I settled with the 3.73 rather than waiting to order with 4.30 gears.
First trip was 14.4 mpg. Hardest part is keeping my foot out of it. Hauled 9-10k back home and it did good, showing 10.7

Congrats on the new truck Saltbranch!
I ordered my CC 4x4 with the 4.30's back on Oct 2 and we pick her up today. I am looking forward to putting some miles on her and breaking her in. Here in Missouri ( KC area) we still can get 100% gasoline pretty regularly. I have a small gas station outside of town that still sells 87 without any ethanol. The boaters are a big reason for this I believe.
Anyway, look forward to posting any gains, losses in mileage, performance, ect...
Again congrats on the new truck.

Just did a 560 mile run down to Minot for 4 days this past weekend and the combined average for the trip and running around Minot for 4 days was 16.1 (hand caculated) MPG. On the highway I ran at 70 most of the time. We had 4 adults in the truck so I am very happy. Towing our 34ft TT we average around 9 at 60.

I got just over 1000 miles and first impressions are very good. I really like the power it has, coming from diesels I was apprehensive. I got the full replacement front/rear Ranch hand bumpers, bedliner an Turnover ball G/N hitch in today. Head ache rack/tool box getting painted and installed next week. Fully rigged up I am in it for a lot less than a diesel would have costed to get off the lot. Oh yea the 4x4 works good,I had it out in a pasture looking at cattle and started getting stuck , locked the 4x4 in and cruised around. Got the first scratch on it from Mesquite brush, so I guess she's broke in now.
