I have A '68 F350 crew cab that I am currently about to start restoring. I was wondering if anybody knew where to mount speakers for the radio I will be upgrading the radio as the other one is shot. I would like to be able to have some speakers in the back though, instead of just the one in the dash. I saw some people up here talking about mounting them in the doors, but I really dont want to do this as my doors are in perfect condition. I dont want anything big like a sub-woofer, just 4 regular speakers

Is it a pure "restoration" or more like a revival with some upgrades? If the latter, I suggest building a center console. Here are some ideas:

Im planning on updating it quite a bit, but I still want to keep the origninal look, but mostly with the dash and exterior. I am planning on putting some seats out of a 92-96 in the front, along with new carpet, sound deadening insulation, a/c, power steering, etc. all will come as I get the money, but the radio will be the first thing i do probably.
