The F350 looks like it has some covered up frame rust above the front spring hanger...looks pretty pitted.

Here is one that is just waiting to be picked up.

1975 Ford F250
Damn! $500? That would be at my house already if I didn't live across the USA from it.

NADA and Haggerty

I investigated both NADA and Haggerty valuation tools. NADA was substantially lower, (Based around Dealer Pricing) and Haggerty was based on collectability. Dollar for Dollar, a reliable, very clean truck has it's own value and the market will dictate that. I offered the truck at the median value and if it doesn't sell, I lower the price. Simple economics.

The truck market is touchy at best so, I am not holding high hopes. If someone wants a $500 truck, that's what they will pay. I have no control of that. My truck is a solid, rust free example and should be priced as such.

I respect the opinions of all my FTE friends so, rather than armchair quarterback the price, tell me what and where I should be at. Thanks.

So I assume this is your truck?

This truck was for sale locally for $14,500. One of three in this paint scheme per Marti report. The truck is perfect, seen it at shows. 460 (originally a 351 truck) with working air. Not sure what it actually sold for, but to me it was well worth the asking price.

I agree with all that you stated. That is a nice truck! One thing about mine is, that is the asking price. And if I am asking too much, the market will dictate that. I am fortunate in that I don't need to sell, I am just moving on to another project. Mine was a 400 originally but it is NOT an AC truck. That one is really nice for sure.

Your truck is very nice, I hope you get what you are asking for it. All you need is one guy with cash on hand and willing to pay it. Market greatly depends on area for these trucks. The wife and I play a game, she finds a truck on CL and I guess the price and give a value. I can tell you that your truck is on par with the asking price of some similar trucks I have seen in certain parts of the country. Texas and California come to mind for higher asking prices.

That is a nice rig and a price I'd pay for it.

Market value and asking price are two different animals indeed.

I have purchased two nut and bolt frame off restorations; a 77 F150 and a 79 F250, both are lifted/auto/ice cold AC....one is a winning show truck on both coasts of the us. I paid much less for both of my rigs than your asking, but if someone is willing to pay $19k+ for it, than that is what it's worth.....as a previous buyer (once in 2010 and once in 2013), for $19k, I'm searching the internet/country FAR AND WIDE and as already pointed out, there are nicer (my opinion) rigs for less than what you're asking.

Good luck with the sale....it's still a nice rig.
