How to replace Injector #7

Short of me splitting the evaporator case and pulling the one half completely off (which is what I did last time and it took me forever to get those stupid screws out and then put back together), is there a better way of getting the number 7 injector out? Stupid vacuum accumulator is in the way...

Nope .. what you are removing is the vacuum canister. I just went through that and the back screw is hard to get to, and harder to put back in.

Pulling the engine is another option, then it should be quite easy ... just kidding, but really, some 1/4 inch socket extensions and laying across the engine was the only way I could get the back screw in first ... hint. Why is injector 7 bad?

That would explain why the stupid thing wasn't moving. I ended up taking the driver off the top of the injector.

A while back, I had my uvch burn, and it took my #7 injector with it. I replaced it with a used one to get me by until I could afford a new set of Stage 1's. Tonight, I was pulling them all out so I could send them in for a rebuild.
