5 chimes five time just after start up on 99 F250SD

Not very hard:
-Pull the radio out, disconnect, set aside
-set the parking brake and chock the wheels
-tilt the steering all the way down
-put the truck into first gear (if it's an automatic)
-You may also have 2 bolts to remove either above or below the radio, but other than that, you should be able to carefully pull it forward. Just make sure you disconnect the connectors for your cigarette lighter or whatever switches are attached to the dash.

I started driving this truck again but have not pulled the dash to replace the light. Now my shifter is one place off and the key is going in and out with some extra effort. Could the key swich be responsible for the shifter being a little off or maybe even the chimes? When I tried to start the truck it just clicked and did not turn over a couple times before starting.
