I have a 1957 F-100, 272, with an aftermarket 2 barrel carburetor. It's junk. Any recommendations out there for a good replacement carb.

I didn't have any luck when I asked motor question here...try the Y block forum.

Are you looking to go back to stock or what? Holley 350 or even a 500 would work. Don't really know if you have a stock engine or modified. Headers? I think the Holley site will walk you thru the selection process fairly well. Afterall, Holleys were original on some of the Fords!

I had a 272 in my '55 Fairlane, so I think it had more power, but I ran an Edelbrock 500 4 bbl on it, and it ran great.
