carbs and such
hey guys i had a few questions about what carb came stock on the 1970 429's my motor is all stock to my knowledge with the exception of the headers i installed. As i understand this is a pretty healthy stock motor ,360 hp 476 ftlbs correct me if i am wrong . Well it has a quadrajet on it and i was wondering if this was stock or not. If there is an aftermarket holly that is better and dosnt cost an arm and 2 legs please let me know. (high school kid on a budget 
) and if anyone knows what came stock and if it was a good carb please lemme know so i can buy one instead of spending time rebuilding this one because i have a lot more work to do on the truck heheh

embarrasing chevy and import boys everywhere , well it used to now its in the old hs auto shop for lotsa body work and a lil custom work
