iirc diamond eye has 4 different DPs... Regular steel and stainless options for cat and bypass.

He wants 99 for it for the OBS stroke's and then its 20 and some change to ship it to me so even if i have to buy a 45 sweep new i will be no where near the price he wants, Plus i dont want the filter cover really.
I went back and looked, it was $77 for the kit, and $14 for the cover exactly 2 years ago next week. Not to be unexpected though, the goal is to make money and im sure his suppliers costs and operating costs have risen as have everyones.

I believe that the gutted cat still hurts flow slightly. Enough to notice? I doubt it. The air just isn't going straight through, it'll tumble around in the cat a bit before getting through it. I'd get rid of it myself, but if you need it for visual inspection, gut it.

Did my tymar intake and i also took my y pipe off and took a porting bit to it and it made a nice improvement, i cleaned up and smoothed out the pipe on the inside where the pipe is pushed inside and welded in and i was surprised at how much of a lip was in there on two of those.

Yeah its worth it, at first when i was thinking about doing it i figured it was going to be a waste of time and not worth even messing with but i though i had better at least take it off and look at it to see what it even looks like and then i went at it hahahah

Thanks. I decided to just buy the filter and make my own elbow since i had access to 4" sweeps. to bad they were all sch 80 so i hit it with the grinding wheel on a bench grinder and sanded down tell it fit the hose and filter snug.

Im gonna be doing the DP soon once i recoup some money since i just bought a car, but even with just the filter i noticed a improvement

Yeah the filter sure makes a difference, the other day i stuck a 6637 filter in my wifes truck i just stuck it in the black rubber hose and it made a noticeable difference

To bring up a mod that hasn't been discussed in a few years.. If you're looking to pick up a little bit of power until you can get a chip or programmer, give the 10k mod a try. Several members of this board used to try out lots of different combinations of the 10k mod and posted about them, so there should be plenty of information out there to reference. I'll have to look later and see if I can find any of the old threads. The 10k mod should be good for a little bit of power. Probably around 10hp if I had to guess.
