body panel removal
Hey I tried to find this question on here but couldn't so here it is.
I have a 1975 Ford F-350 Regular Cab
has a stock 460
C6 Transmission
2WD
My Rad Support is completely shot and rusted out. Also my inner fenders are rusted out where the hood mounts to them at the top. I found some good inner fenders and rad support at a junk yard just out of town.
I am wondering has anyone taken the whole front end of the body off in one peice or do you have to disassemble part by part. The truck im going to grap the parts off is way in the back field and no power so no air tools. I would rather not spend all day taking it off it not needed.

You can pull the front clip as a complete assembly.
Outer grill, core support, front fenders, inner fenders and hood. First remove the front bumper, so you go not mess up the outer grill shell.
Drop the hood and radiator to make it lighter, unbolt the inner fender from the fire wall. One each bolt on the bottom of the back side of the fenders. Open each door and get the one bolt out of there.
The hardest bolts will be the ones holding the core support to the frame (2 ea), might bring a battery powered sawzall. You access the bolt from down beside the radiator, so bring some long extensions and at least 1/2 dv and a cheater pipe.
Unplug the electrics at the elec connertors, remember the inner fenderwell rubber mount strap under the m/s area.

So I went to the junkers and started pulling the front clip off this old truck. I noticed that the rad support is actually different then what I need. I think. The inner fenders look the same from what I can tell though.
I unfortunatly forgot to look at the tag before I left but I think the truck we are pulling stuff off is either a 78 or 79. (Mines a 75)
Does anyone know if im going to have troubles with the inner fenders? I have to go back tomorrow so Ill take a picture of mine and compare them but if anyone knows that would be awsome.
