JP, you are just more proof at what a great community this is! I think I have a lead on a new one, but if I need yours, I'll let you know. We just picked up a "new" but used '99 Subie Forester for my wife and that has given me a few days to get this figured out. (pics in the other thread we all know and love)

well, i just posted in two threads i have going on the issue, that i may have just licked it over my lunch break. only time will tell, though.

i used to have a first gen forester myself - that was a long time ago.

and i agree - def some great guys on here. guys have helped me out big time in the past, so whenever i can pass it along, i'm more than willing.

another thought on your issue would be to try Mouser.com. their website is a little tricky to navigate, but they seem to be the McMaster of electronics - I've found some pretty obscure connectors and switches on there - maybe they have some in stock when Eaton doesn't...

and if i'm ever in Oceanside, i'll let you know. my brother-in-law lives in LA - that's about the only time i get out that far West, though.
