Need help with coolant leak!

Two years ago did HG, BPD egr cooler etc. Have not had to touché the truck except for oil changes and regular maintenance since. Today pull up at a store and coolant is pouring out all over the ground. Get it home crawl under it is running down the back or the passenger head almost looks like it is coming out of the head gasket I know the egr cooler is just above and I can see the blue hose and it is not coming out of there so and it is not the heater hoses what else is there? its not running down the top of the motor.

Is it coming from the intake valley or the exhaust manifold side? is it possible that a block (freeze) plug is leaking?

It is coming from the top. It seems like it is coming from the egr cooler but looking down I can see the blue hose and it is dry and the top of the motor looks dry it almost looked like it was coming out of the head but there was to much to fast to be the head I think it is hard to see.

No I don't think is that it is coming from a higher source.

No it looks like it is coming from the top of the motor and running down the back of the passenger side head. I am going to fill with distilled water in the morning and fun it and see if I can tell where it is coming from I suspect the egr cooler although the blue hose is dry but just seems like it is coming from that area. Did not have a lot of time to look today had to sign on at 1 pm and worked until 0130.

just filling up the degas bottle with distilled water it starts leaking out with out starting truck. It does look like it is coming out the big doughnut oring on the intake or somewhere around there. I am going to pull the fan and shroud so I can get a better look. I would like to know exactly where the leak is from before I tear apart. If it is does anybody know why after 27k and two years it would let go like that. Thanks

There aren't too many spots that leak in that area. The most likely is the blue hose. There is also the cover that the hose attaches to. Also, the o-ring where the egr cooler goes up into the intake manifold.

Those are the areas I would check. An inspection mirror and bright flashlight will help you determine the source of the leak.
