2006 XL cruise control add on clockspring question

So, I picked up a steering wheel and clockspring off ebay to add cruise control to my truck. I own a VCM with IDS so I can add the "personality" ability to the PCM. I've never swapped these before and have a question about the wiring.

The original plain steering wheel was attached to a "black" clockspring.

The new wheel came with an "orange" clockspring. Both clocksprings look identical except the "orange" has more wires in the connector portion. Both connectors are physically the same shape and size.

I must be missing something needed for install. The airbag contains 2 connectors. I would assume one for the airbag itself and 1 for the horn. The horn has a jumper harness that plugs into the clockspring. The cruise wheel has the same flat connector plug also.

The question is...how do I plug 2 plugs into 1 hole? Is there a "Y" splitter or something else I need? It seems I need to choose either cruise or the horn or perhaps they sent me the wrong clockspring??

Thanks.

I didn't know you could flash the cruise to work without taking it to the dealer. I added the clock spring and wheel to my XL but have been hemming and hawing about activating it because the frickin dealer wants to charge me 1.0 hour of labor just to turn it on in the PCM. I have access to a pegasus, but thought it was an OEM only kind of thing.

You can't. It's either the dealer or the $2000 system. I got mine through my work but the VCM interface is around $1200 , the IDS software is a free download, but the yearly software license is $600 I think. Plus you have to have a laptop. I use an older Panasonic tough book CF-19. After the license expires you cannot do PCM flashing anymore unless you buy another year of subscription. I have about 5 months left on mine.
