Weirdest Sounding Wind Noise I've Ever Heard (2010 Explorer)

Hi- I'm new here and hoping someone can help! I've done some searching and see lots of "wind noise" threads but thought I would add this one. I was actually able to record the noise the other day. Here is the video.

It's a 2010 Ford Explorer EB, V6, all-wheel drive.

It only happens when driving directly into an oncoming head-wind. If it's an especially windy day, it's REALLY bad. It comes from the right-bottom inside area of the passenger side. Kind of where the windshield meets the dash. I've tried shoving towels down there, no luck.

I've had two dealers try and diagnose and of course neither could hear it. I've tried opening and closing vents, window up or down, sunroof closed or open, AC on, off, etc... and it's got me stumped. My only thought is the windshield. It's happened since new and we've got 30k on this. It's my wife's and she's way more patient then me...... but after 30k it's starting to really get to her too! Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

Wow thats an odd one, sounds like maybe something might be vibrating also???
Maybe while one is driving the other press on the glass in the area see if you can narrow the search for starters. I assume no leaking water ever?

Sure is an odd one isn't it?? Never heard one like that before, not mention usually you can track down wind noises pretty quickly. It almost sounds like it's come from behind the dash way down where the windshield meets the dash. No leaks at all. Door seals are good too.

Does it change if you completely shut off the climate control system, or switch between "Norm" and "Max A/C" or "Recirculate"? Have you checked all the plugs in the firewall to make sure none are missing or otherwise compromised?

I've tried having the AC on, off, recirculate, etc... but I have not checked the firewall. Good idea, I will today! I appreciate the help. Imagine a 4 or 8 hour trip with that noise!

Any luck? My 2004 Ford explorer v8 4x4 limited has started doing the exact same noise I was thinking it was the antenna resonating.

Anyone with a sport trac ever resolve the driver window wind noise issue? I test drove the 2006, 3 2008's and 2010...THEY ALL have the same wind noise issue on the driver window. I have begun packing the window trim with different foam. Next will try a thicker foam. Please advise if you have a tried and true cure for this issue.
