Electric Window Switches

For my electric windows I was looking to install toggle switches. I was wondering if double throw toggle switches would work to raise and lower windows?

Trevor...

can't imagine why with two caveats.... use switches with a high enough amp rating (or better use relays) use momentary switches that switch back to "OFF" when released...

Yes, use double throw spring loaded momentary contact switches so you don't burn out the motors at the end of their travel. Waytek Welcome to Waytek has a large selection of matching switches in various contact configurations to use for switch panels at reasonable prices.

Ford Window Switch

Is there a reason why you would choose a toggle switch to resolve your issue?
I would check here before going into all that, very good prices and a 30 day return policy. http://www.switchdoctor.net
