electric window

windows stopped working for a few moments couple of weeks ago ,happened one time since then and now again.seems like they are not going to work at all.fuse is good.any suggestions?02 7.3l 56000miles

Just kidding. Maybe the lockout switch is bad. I don't know.

i agree with your comment about ford,already put alternator,multi functional switch,sway bar support rods and nowback up beeber on the blink.can i take switch out from top or do i have to open door panel?

Keep in mind I'm just spit balling here, guessing. My 00 X has been through an alt, torque convertor, support rods, numerous door locks, front axle rebuild, numerous coil packs and it only has 172k.

Oh, might be good to respond to your question. I don't know if the panel comes out towards the top. My X is a company truck so all work gets done by a mechanic. I know now that you posted the question others will chime in. Good luck.
