Excursion electrical problems

I've got an 02 v10 Excursion that I had to jump start this weekend. After doing so, I lost my gauges (they're all flat), my radio, my power windows, and keyless entry. I've checked all the fuses, they're all good, but #41 and 42 (one of which is for the gauge cluster and I can't remember what the other is for) aren't getting any power. I've read that there's some wires that chaff in the column, but I don't see how that could be related to the jump...Anyone have any suggestions?

Fuseable link on the drivers side fender might have burnt up. It's on the inner fender well

I assume that's in the little plastic cover that says "Caution"...I checked that and it's got power on either side...any other suggestions?

Found the problem...apparently there was some corrosion on the positive battery terminal causing the issues...cleaned it up, everything works fine now...Thanks for the ideas.

That is not a fusible link that runs to the the fender. It is a simply a ground wire for the fender to battery. the fusible links are between the alternator and the charger. If you look at the red battery wire at the battery, there is a section of heat shrink on it. look in the end of that and you will see where it is spliced onto two short gray wires. Those are the fusible links. They are there to protect from a short in the charging wire. A type of slow blow fuse.

Fuse 42 is a Delayed Accessory fuse 15 amps. Although it is referenced in the owners manual, it has no reference in the wiring diagrams. I would guess that it is there for customer access use.

Fuse 41 (10 amps) runs right off the main 'Hot at All Times" buss in the Central Junction Box. (fuse box). it leaves the back of the Fuse box via pin 15 of connector block 270A. This becomes a Light green/ Orange wire that runs directoy to the instrument panel pin number 11 of the connector block 220C.

If you have no power at all between ground and either side of fuse 41, then there is something going wrong in the Central Junction Box.

I was busy making my reply and did not see your post about fixing it. You can ignore what I said...
