I can not find it!!!!!!!!"( HELP

I drove 14 hours one way to get an engine and transmission for my truck complete set up . I am going to put it in this weekend and I can not find one of the pieces....... What I have is the 223 I-6 from a '62 and 3 speed transmission. The part is the plate that goes in between engine and bell housing . A metal plate. I am pretty sure it is the same from '53 to '63 . Help does anyone have this plate available to buy $$$ I think I might have thrown it away

I think you're looking for part #7007, transmission spacer plate it's in the number is in the bottom drawing. I don't know the prefix for it. Numberdummy should be along and will let you know. You could also Google the number, I found quite a few of the plates for all different models, nothing specific to your engine and years though.

I'm late to the party. I have several of them. That part is the same for all 215/223/262 engines.

These are one of the parts you can accumulate a boatload when parting out cars and trucks and no one will ever ask about until the day you decide you have had enough and hauled all your "useless" metal to the scrap dealer. Never fails.
