Help with my new van please.

I just got a 81 E150 with what I believe is a 351. It cranks but wont fire and Im not hearing the pump from either tank. I have a 85 F250 with a 460 and have done some troubleshooting on that but it seems different with the van. First I don’t know if it has in tank pumps yet as I just got started on it. I cant find the relay, its not in the same spot as my truck and the oil pressure sensor seems to be different. I think its stuffed way down the right front of the engine with a single wire on it so Its different then the one on my 460. Do I need to jump that somehow if I do find the relays? Thanks for any help.<!--[if gte mso 10]> <style> /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} </style> <![endif]-->

Pretty sure "a 81 E150" came with carburetor, regardless of which motor.

You should not be "hearing the pump from either tank" b/c the fuel pump is most likely on the side of the motor, if it still has OEM mechanical pump.

In tank electric fuel pumps are almost exclusively components of Fuel Injected motors.

Yep I found it today when I was able to look under the motor. I used a suction pump to get the fuel to the pump and she fired right up. Thanks for the input.

Did you figure out if it's a 351? An EZ way is to check the emissions sticker under hood, on radiator support.
