I think you should figure out the weight of your truck along with the max load you plan to carry first. My truck came with E's but the winter tires are D's. I just know the load difference and don't exceed it when I have the winter tires on.
Your tire shop should be able to help you out with your decision.

Mike, you said your truck is lifted. So I can assume you don't tow heavy or haul heavy in the bed? D's should be fine. A load range D in the size you are looking at can generally handle 3200lbs each.

Generally, someone with a lift doesn't load their truck heavy for one. And generally, aftermarket lift springs (if he has them) are not rated for the same load as factory springs. They are tailored towards flex and ride quality.
With D's the OP can handle a RAW (rear axle weight) of around 6400lbs give or take a few hundred depending on the tires. The OP's rear axle (Sterling 10.50) is rated for 9,750lbs. Only the OP knows how he will load his truck...
