Seems like a reasonable asking price, especially having a clean transferable title. The '42 Snogo that sold at auction near here this weekend brought $800 plus 12% commission. This one might be more desirable if it doesn't have all the undergearing needed on a Snogo. Stu

Bernette, curiosity has got the best of me...why do you think snowplow because of wiper on top?

I agree that a very reasonable price, but too far away for me as well.

being its 4 wheel drive. and you could order trucks built with a snow plough package. and wipers on top was part off the package. last truck i saw that way ,was our neighbouring town.international s serie mid 80ies. it had gullwing hood to check under hood without removing plough harness. top mounted wipers didn,t clog with snow,as much as bottom wipers. in a storm snow piles on hood!

Picture updates,
I could tell in the one original picture that the roof had problems but this shows in better detail what happened when the pole barn had more snow on the roof than it could hold, unfortunately!

Josh - does your intimate familiarity with this truck suggest you've gone off your meds? Stu

just a follow up on this truck. and I'm surprised none of us noticed it.
Go back and look at all the pictures I posted and tell me what's wrong with this truck (besides the roof being smashed in )

Anyway, it appears to have a standard axle and does not appear to have any auxiliary trans shifter in the cab. I've requested more info/pictures. I gave the fellow an offer before finding this info out. but I'm wondering what happened to the MH components?

Ouch! Bad eye, Stu. You might also be missing the rear lift blocks too if it sits level. That COE M-H I told you about in Klamath Falls is missing linkage too, but has its transfer case. In case you need pieces for this one. Stu

Not sure what you mean by the "look at the ford script and the Mh logo" ?

Here are some more pictures. Only thing I can figure is maybe the state removed the 4x4 components before they sold it?? seems like a lot of work though?? or maybe something happened to it before they sold it. would be interesting to know the story behind it though.

they beefed up the frame rails with steel plate too. oh well, without the MH gear its probably just another old has been farm truck destined for China's Smelters

You guys aren't leaving me many alternatives here... might just have to go and rescue what I can from it before it hits the ship yard.

Well, I've got bad news, not only have I fallen off the wagon- but my foot got caught on a strand of bailing wire that was holding the grain chute door shut and now I'm being dragged behind this beast! so I guess I'm the soon to be new owner of a MH wanna be truck!
Kinda hate to say it but with the cab damage it's almost certainly going to be a parts truck, I'll yank the engine, pull the front clip, bumper and brackets, doors and everything of worth from the cab and that's probably about it.
I will of course look to see if there are any tell tale signs of any MH components and keep them ie lift blocks etc etc?
Anything else to save that someone could think of?

If anything I can at least feel good about saving the entire thing from being scrap, which is where it would have gone.

oh man, now where do I park this thing,
