F150 alarm issues

2011 F 150 FX 4x4. Ford alarm installed at dealer. Alarm goes off when trying to deactivate and will not reset. Have to set valet button, disabling alarm to start truck. Spent 7 hrs at dealer today and they cannot fix it. Paid over $500 for it! Any ideas out there?
