I have an Aeroforce interceptor gauge monitoring oil and transmission temp. today coming back with an outside temp of 75 and running 75 mph, my oil temp went up to 208. trans temp was 145. this is higher than normal, especially with an empty vehicle. boost was 6-7 psi on the flat and egt was less than 700 most of the time? any thoughts? my mpgs were down about 2-3 from normal also. I had to back off to about 70 to get oil temp to 205, or shut off the AC. Even with the outside temp dropping to ~60 the oil temp only went down to 202. trans temp went down to 138 though. thanks guys!
switching the DP from stock to 80E and back didn't make any diff in temps...
Just wondering, seemed a little doggish too. Maybe it was the humidity. Maybe I'll have the radiator flushed. Don't want it to overheat pulling the boat up to the lake...

Is this your first summer with the Interceptor? Your transmission will go over 170 degrees in the summer (empty) and your oil will go over 200 degrees, but not too bad.

must be getting old, I can't remember what the oil temp was running last summer. Just seems it was running hotter.... I'll keep an eye on it towing the boat...
Last couple of days, I have been monitoring the oil temp. Running 75 the temp is 213 steady. Dropped back to 70 and the temp was 209-210 consistently. In the mornings the temps are about 8-10 degrees cooler.
Ok, think I'm feeling a little better about this. Thanks guys. I think a fishing trip is in order, the Walleye are calling me. We'll see what it does with the boat...
