Locking Hub Question??

The Guy I bought my Truck from changed it from Automatic Hubs the Manual. And he Put a Set of Mile Markers on it.I'd like to go back to OEM Ford.I know you have to get a Kit when you change them over from Auto,my question is does Ford have OEM Parts for this? That way I'll have all OEM Parts in there.I really like the Ford Oem Caps, and that's what I really want. But if I can't get the OEM Parts I'll just go with Warn Parts,I'm guessing they have the Kit & everything I'd need.I wonder if the OEM Ford Cap will fit over the Warn Hub??

Sorry about that,I should have been more Clear.I want to stay with Manual Hubs.I just want OEM Ford Manual Hubs. And if I can't get those I'll go with Warn. And I wanted to also know if the OEM Ford Manual Cap would fit on the Warn Manual Hubs? I just like the OEM Ford Manual Cap.And I've always heard if you can,use OEM Parts.I don't know much about Mile Marker, but the ones he put on there look cheap IMO..

I heard the milemarkers were good... put a set on my brothers f350 and they seemed to be made well enough.

I'm guessing when the Guy put on the Mile Markers,he used their Auto to Manual Kit.Does Warn or Ford have the parts to do this? I want all of the Mile Marker parts out of there..And is Warn a lot better than OEM Ford,or are they about the same? And would the OEM Ford Cap attach to the Warn Hubs? I really want the Ford OEM outer Caps, the insides don't matter as much as long as there good quality....

The manuals should go right in place of what you have. My question though is, why do you wan't to swap them? If they work why change them. Mile Marker hubs work just fine. Steve83 on Supermotors wheels his Bronco harder than most and doesn't have an issue with them. Ultimately, I feel the problem here is everyone puts a brand name before real world performance.

As for getting parts, it depends on what your hubs have in them. That depends on which automatic hubs you had before.

Study these:

I see what your saying. But these are the cheapest Mile Markers they make, there not even the nicer Mile Markers.I've read more negative than Positive about them, and I don't want to be in a situation and they fail.I'd rather put some better ones in there while I'm not in a Bind, and it's not a Big expensive item. And I like the way the Stock Manual Hubs look, and I really want to Put OEM Parts back in it.And I've found the Mile Marker Auto to Manual Kit,but nothing from Warn or Ford..And I don't have a clue what Automatic Hubs it had in it,all he told me was 1 side messed up.And he changed them out to the Manual...These Mile Markers could out last the Truck who knows, but then again they could fail the first time I use them. But that could also happen to the Very Best Parts,to the cheapest. You never know what part is going to work great,or crap out on you the first time out...

I see what you are saying. I'm not too sure on the low end mile markers either. My suggestion for figuring out what you need would be to pull the hub out and see what is behind it. I just swapped out my autos the other day. If you look at the first diagram I posted, I removed the "c" washer, part 3B457, and the splined spacer, part 3B458 as per WARNS instructions. That is what was required on my 92. You must remember here that the factory manual hubs were WARN hubs, and therefore the go in the same as the new WARN hubs.
